The 1:250,000 scale Landsat-Reference-Maps
are a combination of 30m pixel resolution Landsat Satellite
Imagery, detailed road networks and all P-Code populated places
for Iraq. The entire map set consists of 43 maps covering the
whole of Iraq. Please refer to the index map first to find the
appropriate maps for your area of interest.
Each pdf file includes a Gazetteer with all
names of populated place including their P-Code and a grid index
(B-6) indicating roughly where to find this place on the map.
Attention: populated places very close to the edge and beyond the
last coordinate grid line (eg. 45 or 46 30’) that is visible on
the map frame may be not in the gazetteer. Please also note that
these maps were produced in May 2003 and do not reflect the more
recent additions of populated places or changes of placenames in
Iraq.

Please click on the index area to view the maps
Important Notice: Maps NI 38-10, and 14 plus NH 38-2,3,7
and 8 have been removed for revision of a “Divided Road” feature
and will be re-posted shortly.
If you have downloaded or received a hardcopy map from an HIC
field office of the maps mentioned above be aware that there are
errors in the position of the divided road feature in these maps
that may cause confusion in navigation and orientation.
